Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Uynite Inc (“Uynite”), Aurora, Illinois, USA. They cover the Uynite apps on iPhone and Android, and this website. The Privacy Policy explains personal information. The Cookies page explains this website.

Accepting these terms

You accept these terms when you continue with Google or Apple, create an account, or keep using Uynite after this page shows a new date. If you do not agree, do not use Uynite. You can delete an account you already have in Profile.

Who can join

• You must be 16 or older. If you are under 16, you cannot join. Uynite does not keep that account.
• In India, ages 16 and 17 need a parent or guardian to agree before the account is finished. We store that person’s name, email, and the time of the agreement.
• At 18, that agreement is not required.
• You must give information that is true. One person, one account.

The service

• You say when you are free. That window ends on its own.
• A request is a plan to meet at a public place. You can accept, suggest a change, or say no.
• Uynite AI can fill a time, an activity, or a public place on a card. You send the card. The AI cannot accept, decline, or message anyone for you.
• There is no chat. The card is the conversation.
• A Squad is people you invite. There is no public list of Squads.
• Uynite can change, pause, or stop a feature. The service is free unless we say otherwise before a charge.

Your account

• You sign in with Google or Apple. Uynite does not see that password.
• Your user ID is unique. Your name can match someone else’s.
• People can see the gender you put on your profile, your age, your live photo, and that you are free. They do not see your birthday.
• You can delete the account in Profile. That removes the live account and what is on it. It cannot be undone. You can also write to privacy@uynite.com.

What you may not do

• Use Uynite if you are under 16, or help someone under 16 join.
• Ask for a home, hotel, or other private place as the meeting point.
• Hunt people, pressure anyone for sex, threaten anyone, or post hate.
• Pretend to be someone else, or upload a photo that is not you.
• Scrape the service, break the apps, or send spam.
• Use Uynite for anything illegal.

Uynite can remove a card, refuse a note, or suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts someone at risk. You can write to contact@uynite.com if you think that was a mistake.

Meetings in person

A meet happens only if you choose to go. Meet in public. Uynite is not at the meeting. Uynite does not guarantee that another person is safe, that a live photo is a government identity check, or that a place is open. You are responsible for your own decision to meet.

Uynite AI

The model runs on Uynite’s own servers. It is not OpenAI. It can be wrong. Read the card before you send it. Sending, accepting, changing, and declining stay with you.

Your content

You keep ownership of your name, photo, notes, and cards. You give Uynite Inc a limited permission to host, show, and process that content only to run Uynite: to show your profile to people you could meet, to deliver a card, to run the safety check, and to fill a card you asked for. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for a routine backup until that backup expires, and except where the same photo or card is still part of another person’s meet record until that account is deleted or the meet is gone.

Our content

The Uynite name, logo, apps, and website belong to Uynite Inc or its licensors. You may not copy them for another product.

Disclaimers

Uynite is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, Uynite Inc disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that a match will happen, or that a meeting will be safe.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Uynite Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or what happens at a meeting you choose to attend. Where the law allows a limit, Uynite Inc’s total liability for a claim about the service is limited to USD 100.

This section does not limit liability the law does not allow us to limit. That includes fraud, and death or personal injury caused by our negligence. If you live in a place that gives you rights a company cannot take away, those rights still apply.

Disputes

Write to contact@uynite.com first and give us a reasonable chance to resolve the issue. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without using conflict-of-law rules to pick another place’s law. A state or federal court in Illinois may hear the dispute, unless the law where you live requires a local court or a local consumer process.

Changes to these terms

We will change the date at the top when these terms change. If you keep using Uynite after that date, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using Uynite and delete the account.

The rest

If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms are the whole agreement about the service. They do not create a partnership, employment, or agency. Uynite Inc may assign this agreement to a successor of the business. You may not assign your account.
